PRT was assigned by ASFINAG (Autobahnen- und Schnellstraßen-Finanzierungs_Aktiengesellschaft, see also: http://www.asfinag.at) to install and implement the PRT WIV System. After a 6 month test run, the system operates for the customer's satisfaction. In combination with on-board units for the vehicles of the road maintenance staff, the USPs and pros of the system could be demonstrated with a lasting effect.

Another project (traffic management system for highways; project A2, A3, A21; video system for winter services) was deliverd, mounted and implemented in autumn 2008 AHEAD of schedule, by PR!

Successful SAT of the video system part deliverd by PR for the traffic management system (inter urban traffic management system) "Austria Mitte", including cameras and fibre optic components at the the end of 2008.

PRT installed a further automatic license plate recognition system at the pedestrian zone of the city of Graz.

At the south highway A2 knot "Wiener Neustadt", the existing ghost driver detection system has been upgraded with an emergency lane classification system. Part of the job was the installation of a modul for classification of the lane to detect ghost drivers. The central visualization software has been extended with a corresponding version.
